Latest Rumors: T-Mobile manages to sign Apple iPhone deal beating Vodafone
Vodafone is said to be the strongest contender to take the rights to offer the Apple iPhone device in the European countries.
However, the latest reports in the media suggest that T-Mobile has just managed to edge out Vodafone to sign up the deal with Apple.
A report in the Rheinischen Post newspaper states that T-Mobile won the bid at the last minute from Europe’s largest mobile operator, Vodafone Group PLC.
The report further claimed that Apple would offer the iPhone for US$613 in Germany. Which version would cost this much is not clear.
Apple just recently introduced the iPhone in the US market and the launch was incredibly successful.
Market sources claim that the company might have already sold as many as 700,000 units of iPhone in the market till now.
