Maruti launches Grand Vitara SUV update in India
India’s leading automaker Maruti has launched the latest version of the Suzuki Grand Vitara in the Indian market.
The manual transmission model of the Grand Vitara SUV has been priced at Rs 13.80 lakh (ex-showroom) in Delhi.
The automatic version has been priced at Rs 14.8 lakh (ex- showroom price Delhi).
MUL Chairman S Nakanishi spoke about the launch of the new edition of Grand Vitara: “India is very important and evolving market for Suzuki. We believe that we have to diversify our product line to meet rapidly changing customer demands. The launch of Grand Vitara is a step in this direction.”
MUL Managing Director Jagdish Khattar added about the effect of the high interest rates on auto loans in the Indian market on their sales: “Interest rate effect has not peaked out and it is still impacting sales.”
Maruti added that the Grand Vitara SUV would be imported in India from Suzuki’s plant in Japan.
Grand Vitara is the third global launch from the Suzuki in the Indian market after Suzuki Swift and Suzuki SX4.

Indeed a great news for the SUV lovers. The pricing is great and the best part of Grand Vitara it that it performs amazingly both on off-road and on-road conditions. The SUV enthusiasts can rejoice. Go for it!
