Microsoft working on Joost like LiveStation service
Joost is already available in beta version for people who want to check out internet based television that is powered by p2p technology.
Now, Microsoft has revealed that they are working on a similar technology named LiveStation in collaboration with UK-based startup Skinkers.
This service would be powered by their Silverlight technology which itself is said to be Adobe Flash challenger.
Microsoft said that LiveStation would use peer-to-peer technology to deliver live TV at high quality over the Internet.
The company has made available a video demo of the new site which is currently open to limited beta testers…
Skinkers CEO Matteo Berlucchi added in a statement that they aim to have a broader beta available by October this year.
