Ratan Tata reiterates that they are on track to launch Rs. 1 lakh car by next year
Tata Motors is working on their Rs. 1 lakh car and they have plans to launch the car in the Indian market by next year.
Tata Motors Chairman Ratan Tata has now reiterated that they are on track and they would indeed be able to launch the car by 2008.
Tata further said that the company would also be coming out with their new generation trucks this year.
Tata’s upcoming Rs. 1 lakh car when it comes out would become the world’s cheapest car in production.
The company already manufactures and sell Indica hatchback, the Indigo sedan and the station wagon Indigo Marina along with Safari SUV and Sumo MUV in the Indian market.
