Sprint Nextel tells demanding customers to move to other service providers
Sprint Nextel has been reported to have informed around 1000 of their customers that they are suggested to move to rival telecom companies.
As per market sources the company found out that these customers were calling up the customer care numbers way too many times.
The letter sent to these customers by the company said: “While we have worked to resolve your issues and questions to the best of our ability, the number of inquiries you have made to us during this time had led us to determine that we are unable to meet your current wireless needs.”
The customers were also told that their service agreements were being canceled and they would not be required to pay anything in their final bills. In addition, Sprint Nextel is also waiving their early termination bills.
The letter further said that if the customer wants to preserve their current number while moving to rival service provider they are suggest to move before the end of the current month.
Sprint spokeswoman Roni Singleton spoke on this decision made by the company: “These accounts have been researched very carefully. We feel strongly that the decisions we made, we stand by them. These decisions weren’t made lightly.”
