Mercedes-Benz gets its own Internet-based video channel
Makers of the popular Mercedes Benz brand of luxury cars DaimlerChrysler AG has announced that they are launching an Internet-based video channel for this auto brand.
These video channels would highlight the new products and details on the company’s history.
Mercedes-Benz TV would be launched tomorrow and would feature a weekly 20-minute news magazine.
It would also feature five channels each running an hour’s worth of material 24 hours a day with topics on lifestyles; cars; engines and sports; history; and automotive legends.
The company added that the web destination would also showcase Mercedes-Benz events at world auto shows and the premieres of new models live.
The video shows would be made available in both German and English language.
Olaf Goettgens, the vice president of brand communications for Mercedes-Benz added: “Mercedes-Benz TV opens up a new and very emotional communication channel for our customers and anyone interested in the brand.”
