MySpace seems to be losing their teen visitors as per latest statistics
comScore Media Metrix has reported that the online social networking portal MySpace.com finally seems to be losing teens as their visitors.
The web based destination seems to be attracting more of the high school crowd as per their latest statistical report.
However, MySpace.com still dominates Facebook.com service comfortably. However, the U.S. visitors under 18 to MySpace dropped 30 percent over the past year. In comparison, the same traffic on Facebook.com rose about 2.5 times.
Chris DeWolfe, chief executive and co-founder spoke about MySpace.com: “Whether uploading a video, registering to vote or catching up with friends, MySpace continues to be a central part of people’s lives.” Owner of MySpace.com added in a statement that the service continues to remain a massively popular online destination.
It added that as per their statistics its users overall average 10 minutes more each month and visit the site 20 percent more often than Facebook users.
