Google Custom Search Business Edition launched for small businesses

Search engine giant Google further expands the scope of their search applications. The company has now launched Google Custom Search Business Edition which is targeted at small businesses running websites.

They are providing this service to let the companies run Google technology powered search engines on their websites.

It would cost as little as $US100 per year for these websites to use Google powered search services on their sites.

Nitin Mangtani, a Google product manager said in a statement that their target market is the millions of websites that either do not have search engines or are unhappy with the quality of their current search results.

The company however already provides a free version of custom search. But these search results are accompanied by Google Ads. The paid version would allow the companies to show results on their sites without any advertisements.
