Search engine giant Google is said to be working on new tools to enable them to offer new mobile search services.
This service could allow mobile users to search for and purchase mobile content, including ring tones and games.
The Wall Street Journal reported in a news item that this service has been under development for sometime now and the company is working with large entertainment companies and smaller mobile-media aggregators for content.
Google has declined to comment on this latest report in the media.
The report further claimed that the search engine company is considering at providing a social-networking piece that would let users of its e-mail service, called Gmail, exchange content.
