YouTube launches Custom Player feature
If you liked hosting your videos on the Google owned YouTube service but disliked the user interface of their player, here is some good news for you.
Google has now launched a new service on YouTube which now allows you to have a customized player for your videos.
Users get a lot of options to customize the player including the skin of the UI of the player to run the videos hosted by the service.
They can also change the name of the player to add that personalized touch. There are also several layout options including one which allows the user to add related videos to the right.
This feature would be specially useful for those web publishers who use YouTube videos on their site and want to customize the look to match the theme of their website.
