Digg to get Microsoft powered ads and an Images section
Popular online social news service Digg.com has announced that they have now signed on a deal with software giant Microsoft.
Microsoft would now be providing all kind of advertising to Digg.com website. Digg.com currently uses Google Advertising along with some provided by Federated Media Publishing.
The deal signed on between Digg and Microsoft would last for a period of three years which is a long time for online web services.
This deal with Digg is expected to boost Microsoft’s presence in the online advertising market looking at the popularity of this web service.
Digg and Microsoft further announced that they would also work together on future technology and advertising initiatives.
Digg’s Kevin Rose added in a comment on the website that they are also going to add an IMAGES section on Digg.com along with adding a lot more features.
