Apple iPhone to enter Europe later this year

Apple has now somewhat confirmed that they would be launching their recently launched Apple iPhone mobile phone product in some key European countries later this year.

Peter Oppenheimer, Apple’s CFO said in a statement that their European mobile service provider partners would be revealed later this quarter.

The company added that they sold 270,000 iPhones during the first 30 hours of launch in the US market.

AT&T has already said in its own report that they managed to sell more iPhones during the first weekend than it had sold in a month of any other wireless device in its history.

Apple is now aiming to sell around a million iPhone units by the end of its fourth quarter. This would also be the first full quarter of iPhone being made available in the market. If they achieve this feat, it would be incredible considering the company took seven quarters to sell its first million iPods.

But those days were totally different… Apple is the toast of the market today!
