WSJ: Google is in talks with mobile manufacturers and service providers
The Wall Street Journal has reported that the search engine giant Google is in talks with several wireless phone operators and handset makers as it aims to expand its presence in the mobile advertising market.
Google has already invested a lot on improving their mobile based services including mobile advertising technologies.
The WSJ reported that the company is targeting manufacturers and service providers in U.S. and Europe.
Some of the rumored operators to be in talks with Google include AT&T, T-Mobile USA and Verizon Wireless along with Vodafone.
The report further claimed that Google has also developed some prototype handsets and have discussed the technical specifications with manufacturers. LG is said to be one of the interested mobile phone maker in developing products with Google powered technology.
