Sony now recalling around 416,000 digital cameras
Japanese consumer electronics giant Sony has announced that they are now recalling around 416,000 digital cameras.
The problem exists in their cases which may wrap creating a sharp edge. The company said that they would be replacing the camera’s bottom casing, where the problem occurs, at no cost.
The company added that the affected cameras include 350,000 Cyber Shot DSC-T5 cameras sold in the United States, Europe and China.
They had also sold around 66,000 units of this camera in their home market of Japan.
The company is advising their customers to check the model and serial numbers of their cameras to see if they are among the affected products.
