Acer launches TravelMate 6291 notebook in India
Taiwan-based Acer has now launched their TravelMate 6291 notebook in the Indian market.
The notebook machine is powered with the Intel Core 2 Duo mobile processor T5500 and comes loaded with Microsoft Windows Vista Business edition.
It features a 12.1-inch WXGA CrystalBrite TFT LCD display, and comes with a 160 GB HDD.
S Rajendran, general manager for sales and marketing, Acer India said in a statement on this new product launch: “We are the first to launch the latest notebook with Intel Core 2 Duo and Vista Business in India with the TravelMate 6291.”
The company further claimed that the notebook product supports Intel’s 64-bit architecture, mobile 945GM Express chipset and wireless Wi-Fi Link 4965AGN network solution.
The notebook comes with a gig of RAM which can be upgraded to a maximum of 4 GB.
Acer added that the notebook incorporates proprietary Acer SignalUp and GridVista technologies in addition to CrystalBrite technology for enhanced picture quality.
It is being offered in the market for Rs 47,499.
