AC/DC now available through Verizon Wireless
US based telecom company Verizon Wireless has announced that they have now bagged exclusive rights to sell AC/DC music.
They have the right to offer this music exclusively till March next year. With this they have become the sole distributor of digital media from the Australian Band.
However, the deal with Verizon is limited to full-album downloads. This was one of the major conditions put forward by the band.
The entire albums from the band would be available from Verizon’s VCast Music service for $12 an album.
The two parties however said that the band’s biggest hit, “You Shook Me All Night Long” will be available as an over-the-air download.
AC/DC has already announced that they would be launching their new studio album sometime next year. It would be followed by a tour.
