Apple updates iMac range. 17 inch model eliminated.
Apple is currently holding their latest media event and the company has announced the newly updated iMac range.
The new iMacs are even slimmer than the earlier variants and are now featuring aluminum casings.
They are going to be made available in two versions 20 inches and 24 inches. These two have been priced at $1,199 to $1,799, depending on their configurations.
Apple further announced that they are dropping the 17 inch iMac variant. The price of the 24 inch model has been dropped by USD 200.
The company is at the moment showcasing the new features of their iLife suite.
