Sprint in talks with Intel for WiMax enabled PCs
US based mobile service provider Sprint is said to be in talks with the microprocessor industry giant Intel.
The two companies are discussing the possibilities to develop computers that have embedded connections to WiMax.
WiMax is the next generation wireless technology to enable mobile devices to access internet at high speeds.
Sprint wireless-broadband executive Barry West said in a statement on the possibilities: “I’m expecting a lot of it to be embedded by 2010.”
He said that the company expects that most people would be accessing WiMax networks using built in support rather than using an external device.
