Porsche Cayman S ‘Design Edition 1′ showcased
Luxury sports car maker Porsche has now displayed their Cayman S ‘Design Edition 1′ to the media.
This would be a limited edition Cayman S to feature Porsche Design’s signature chronographs and leathers.
It would be available on sale coming this November. It would be powered with a 295bhp engine and only 777 units would be sold in the market.
The car comes loaded with three-spoke sports steering wheel, the gear lever, the handbrake grip, and the roof lining are clothed in non-slip black Alcantara.
The company said that the car comes with the standard Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) which automatically controls the firmness of the dampers and features a special Sport mode that can be activated at the touch of a button for an enhanced dynamic driving feel.

orsche sells much less than the hoped for 10,000 Caymans per yer, more like 7,000 or so. Therefore 777 would be like 1 out of 10 — not so exclusive.
What the Cayman needs is a bigger engine, limited slip differential, and normal (non-crippled) gearing. And what does high and mighty Porsche AG give us? Black paint and leather. Porsche AG has got to be the most arrogant, least responsive, company in the world.
