AOL launches an updated Truveo video search engine
US based internet company AOL has announced the launch of their updated Truveo video search engine.
They had acquired this searching technology around 1.5 years ago. AOL is enhancing their focus on the video content services.
They already has the UnCut video sharing website and the AOL Video portal. AOL said that looking at the growing traffic on the Truveo website, they decided to enhance it even further.
Interestingly, AOL also owns another video search engine named Singingfish. They had acquired this company in 2003.
This website now redirects the user to AOL Video. AOL said that its technology is now incorporated into the Truveo search engine.
