Apple expected to top their estimates of iPhone sales
UBS analyst Benjamin Reitzes has said in a research note that Apple is likely to sell more than 800,000 iPhones in the fourth quarter.
This would easily top their own estimates of selling 730,000 units for the quarter.
Apple iPhone has been in much demand ever since it was launched few months ago by the company.
It is the first mobile phone product from Apple and has been labeled as an innovative product by the experts.
Apple is also likely to introduce the iPhone in Europe later this year. Japan launch is expected to take place sometime next year.
Reitzes mentioned in his report: “Our checks continue to indicate solid demand for the iPhone despite typical moderation in excitement from launch and extremely high expectations.”
Apple had sold close to around 270,000 iPhones during the first weekend of launch. Apple is expected to sell 10 million iPhones by the end of 2008.
