Google seeing more traffic on their mobile services
Search engine giant Google has stated that the traffic on their mobile services is increasing. The company has seen a major boost on these services since May.
Marissa Mayer, Google’s vice president of search products added in a statement: “We are seeing more and more mobile activity.”
The company noted that the traffic to Google’s maps, e-mail and mobile searches on mobile phones and wireless handheld devices rose 35 percent between May and June.
The launch of the Apple iPhone device also helped enhance the traffic on their services like Google Maps on mobile phones.
Google added that most of the traffic coming on their mobile services is still from the US market.
