Sony shows a Walkman powered with Sugar-Based Battery
Sony might be the company behind the massive notebook battery recall but they still remain one of the most innovating companies around.
The company has now showcased a battery that produces electricity by breaking down sugar. They are the world’s largest battery makers.
They showcased this bio cell, which measures 39 millimeters cubed. It delivers 50mW (milliWatts) which they claim is the first for any product of this kind.
This battery uses glucose solution for fuel and the company showcased four of the cells connected in series which powered their Walkman player.
