Apple iPhone has been totally unlocked
Reports online have confirmed that hackers have now managed to totally unlock the recently launched Apple iPhone.
Apple launched the iPhone mobile phone in collaboration with AT&T. This means that the customer can only use the device with an AT&T mobile connection.
The two companies require the customer to sign-up for a two year long contract. The phone officially does not work with any other sim card.
The latest reports online suggest that hackers have now managed to find hacks to unlock the device to make it work with rival telecom companies.
Engadget.com has reported about a piece of software from iPhoneSIMfree.com which when installed on the iPhone would unlock it to work on any mobile service provider (GSM).
They have made available a video online showcasing an unlocked iPhone which works fine on a T-Mobile connection.
