Yahoo acquires mobile ad company Actionality
Internet giants Yahoo announced this week that they are acquiring the German mobile advertising technology company Actionality.
The two companies did not disclose the financial aspects of this acquisition deal.
The company specializes in developing technologies which can be used to insert ads in content for mobile devices.
Actionality claims that their technology simplifies in-game branding and advertising.
Yahoo said that this acquisition deal is just the latest step in their aim to become the No. 1 player in mobile advertising.
Both Yahoo and Google are aggressively pursuing the mobile advertising market.
