Discussions still going on for Apple iPhone launch in Europe

France Telecom representative have said that Orange is still in talks with Apple for the upcoming launch of iPhone in the European market.

A source in the company stated: “I can confirm there are talks.” No further details were revealed.

Apple has already launched the iPhone in the US market and they are aiming to launch it in the European market before the end of the year.

Rumors in the market claims that the company has signed deals with T-Mobile in Germany, Orange in France, and O2 in the UK.

France Telecom executive, Louis-Pierre Wenes had countered that report in a statement: “Several operators are still in talks with Apple. I think it will be several weeks before we have an announcement. A deal in September, as has been reported, seems impossible to me, if only for technical reasons.”
