Vaio LT HD PC/TV: Sony introduces an all in one product solution
Japanese consumer electronics maker Sony has announced their latest product named Vaio LT HD PC/TV.
It is essentially an all in one computer aimed at consumers who want to use their computers to watch television occasionally.
The base version of this laptop would sell for USD 1900 and it would be available in retail markets sometime later this year.
The device ships with a widescreen 22-inch display and it supports CableCard to allow it to work with premium digital cable television services.
They are also going to launch a High Definition model with Blu-ray Disc playback and burning capabilities for USD 2900.
Sony said that the notebook would come with an A/V power switch that lets you shut down the TV circuitry while still operating it as a computer.
The product also comes loaded with a 1.3-megapixel built-in web camera and microphone. It would be powered with the Windows Vista Ultimate OS.
