Samsung launches Bluetooth enabled YP-P2, YP-S5 digital media player
South Korean consumer electronics maker Samsung has announced the launch of their latest portable media player.
The Samsung YP-P2 is a MP3 player which also supports video playback. It features a high-resolution screen that displays 30 frames per second in DVD movie format and the 16:9 screen ratio.
The company added that the device uses a touch screen that uses Emoture input technology.
It is also Bluetooth enabled which allows up to three people to listen to music at the same time. They can use the company’s YA-BH270 headsets which are Bluetooth enabled.
It would ship in 2GB, 4GB and 8GB capacities.
Samsung also in addition launched the YP-S5 music player as a successor to the YP-K5. It comes with integrated stereo slide-and-tilt speakers to allow others to share music. It also supports Bluetooth and features a text viewer, photo viewer, flash game.
