LG launches Viewty camera mobile phone
South Korean consumer electronics maker LG Electronics has announced their first premium camera mobile phone.
This product has been named Viewty and it would go on sale in October this year. LG added that they are aiming to corner 10-15 percent of this market segment within about a year.
The phone would be priced somewhere between Euro 400 and Euro 600. This puts it in between LG Shine and LG Prada mobile phones.
The company added that they have developed this phone to make it easier for the user to send/share/view photos and videos.
The phone comes with a touch screen interface and has a 5.1 mega pixel camera. It also features a special key to upload videos on Google owned video sharing service YouTube.
LG Electronics also launched another mobile phone product LG-KS20 which features a touchscreen and comes with high-speed HSDPA network support.
