Apple launches the new iMacs in India

Apple has now launched their recently launched updated lineup of iMacs in the Indian market.

Apple India store is still down however. As it has been since the last couple of days (or weeks!).

The company has launched their iMacs featuring 20- and 24-inches wide-screen displays. These iMacs were recently launched in the US market and are encased in aluminum and glass enclosures.

The new iMacs comes powered with Intel Core 2 Duo processors, an ultra thin aluminum Apple Keyboard, built-in iSight video camera, iLife’08, and iWork’08.

Customers have the option to go for wireless keyboard and mice to remove two of the three cables needed to get the machine working.

However, the iMacs in India are quite expensive compared to their prices in the US market. The 20 inch model would start at Rs 64,600. The 24 inch model starts at Rs 96,100.
