Bajaj to launch new 125 cc DTS-Si bikes this month
Indian two wheeler major Bajaj Auto is likely to launch some new products this month. The company is likely to launch a new 125 cc bike which would be powered with their new DTS-Si technology based engine. The bike is likely to be named Exceed.
Bajaj Auto General Manager (Marketing) Amit Nandi said in a statement on their plans: “Bajaj will offer customers a value proposition much superior to the currently overpriced and under performing 100cc products with the launch of an all new bike with the DTS-Si engine next month.”
Bajaj claims that this new engine would enable the bike to give a fuel efficiency of 109 KM per liter under ideal test conditions.
Nandi added: “The DTS-Si engine is far superior to the conventional 4-stroke engines, which dominate the 100cc segment at present. With the new DTS-Si engine the consumer would not have to compromise between power and mileage – he gets the best of both.”
