Volkswagen Passat launch in India
Market sources states that the German automotive giant Volkswagen would be launching their Passat in the Indian market tomorrow.
This would be a significant launch for the company as they have been planning to bring it in the Indian market since quite sometime.
It would take on some formidable competition in the market including models like Toyota Camry, Nissan Teana, Mercedes C Class, BMW 3 series and Audi A4.
It would feature a diesel engine too and this would make it an interesting challenger to the existing cars in the segment.
Volkswagen is already selling their other two cars Phaeton and Touareg through the import route. Passat is likely to be sold in the market as CBU (completely built units).
