NBC Universal shows to remain on iTunes for the time being

NBC Universal and Apple have been involved in a discussion mess which has somewhat gone public.

NBC Universal has rejected to renew their contract with Apple related to selling their shows on the Apple iTunes store.

Apple stated that NBC was asking them to hike the prices of the show which was not an option for them.

NBC rejected the claim saying that they wanted Apple to offer bundles to offer better value deals to the customer.

NBC Universal has now stated that all returning series including new episodes would be available on iTunes through the end of the contract.

The thing got nasty when NBC mentioned in a statement: “It is clear that Apple’s retail pricing strategy for its iTunes service is designed to drive sales of Apple devices, at the expense of those who create the content that make these devices worth buying.”
