Apple launches iPod Touch
The day has arrived and Apple has launched the much awaited full screen iPod for their fans.
The newly launched iPod has been named iPod Touch. Seems to be inspired from the HTC’s Touch mobile phone device.
The newly launched iPod Touch comes loaded with Apple’s Safari web browser and a built-in wireless antenna.
This means that the iPod Touch is Wi-Fi enabled and the customers would be able to surf the net through it.
They are also preloaded with searching features powered by both Google and Yahoo. It also comes with iPhone like support for the Google’s YouTube.
The company also launched a iTunes Wi-Fi Music Store that would enable the user to buy and download songs without connecting the iPod Touch to a computer.
Pricing is impressive. The 8GB model has been priced at USD 299. The 16GB model is priced at USD 399.
Impressively, this is THE first iPod I think I want to buy for myself. Microsoft Zune is nothing in comparison.
