Apple announces iPhone ringtone maker
Apple has finally listened to the owners of their iPhone mobile phone device. The company has announced that an upcoming update of their iTunes application would come with a custom ringtone maker.
This application would then allow the iPhone owners to put ringtones on their iPhone.
Users would be able to pick a song and they would be able to use 30 seconds from the song as their ringtone.
They would also be able to set custom fade in and fade out points.
Steve Jobs further said while making this announcement that all songs on iTunes which would make for good ringtones would feature a bell icon column in the music list.
The customized ringtones would cost the user an additional 99 cents. The company is now expected to release iTunes 7.4 in the next couple of hours.
