Honda Jazz planed for Indian market
Honda Siel Cars India has said in a statement that they are planning to launch two new cars in the Indian market in the coming years.
One of these cars would be their compact car Jazz. This would be their small car offering in the Indian market.
Jnaneswar Sen, senior general manager (marketing), HSCI said in a statement: “We are still two years away from launching a small car in India, but have zeroed in on Jazz along with another model to mark our foray into the small car segment.”
They are going to introduce the 1.2 liter model of the Jazz in the Indian market which would give them the excise benefits from the government.
Sen added: “C segment sales were affected by high interest rates, but we expect to maintain our growth momentum and sale of 65,000-70,000 units in this fiscal”.
Honda is also expected to update their City model sometime next year and is also planning to offer an hybrid edition of City in India.
