NBC Universal now selling shows on Amazon Unbox
NBC Universal might have refused to extend their partnership with Apple over selling their content on the Apple iTunes store but they have now expanded the availability by entering into a deal with Amazon.
The company announced that they are now offering their media content on Amazon’s Unbox service.
The deal with Amazon is a pretty broad one and it offers the customer several discounted deals. Customers can get a discount up to 30% when purchasing full seasons of TV shows.
This flexible pricing was the primary issue of controversy between Apple and NBC over iTunes.
Some of the shows being offered on Amazon Unbox includes The Office, Heroes, and 30 Rock. Customers would soon be able to download pilot episodes of NBC’s new shows Bionic Woman, Chuck, Journeyman and Life.
