Google working on enhancing Universal Search

Google recently announced the launch of their Universal Search initiative which saw them integrating several searching technologies into their primary search service.

The company has now said in a statement that they would now become more aggressive with its universal search effort.

The aim is to integrate a variety of Web links into a single results list to give the best results to the web user.

Sundar Pichai, director of product management at Google said in a statement on the ongoing developments: “We’re still at the nascent stages. Going forward, we’ll be more aggressive in terms of when we trigger this.”

The company is working hard on learning from user’s past queries to tailor search results accordingly.
