Apple iPod Hi-Fi speaker system dead?
Looks like Apple has discontinued their Apple iPod Hi-Fi speaker system. Apple had launched this expensive accessory for the iPod early last year but it found few takers.
This product is still mentioned on the accessory pages for the iPod but it is missing from the Apple’s online store.
The direct link to the product page now shows an error message stating:
“The item you have selected is currently not available from the Apple Store. Please note that Apple cannot guarantee availability of any product.”
Looks like Apple has decided to no longer offer this product and continue their effort on marketing the newly launched iPod Touch and iPod Classic.
