Skoda Fabia launch pushed to January next year
Czech automaker Skoda seems to have delayed the launch of their smaller car Fabia to January next year.
The company now plans to introduce this model in the Indian market through a launch at the high-profile Auto Expo 2008.
Auto Expo 2008 opens on January 10 in New Delhi. They had originally planned to launch the Fabia model in November this year.
But they now plan to use the Auto Expo event to maximize the visibility of this much awaited compact car.
They have also not revealed any pricing on this car though market analysts believe that the car would be priced between Rs 6-7 lakh.
The car would take on the more expensive models of Maruti Swift and would be presented as a premium offering in the B-segment.

I have three choices- Hyundai Verna Crdi, Chevrolet Optra Magnum Tcdi, or Skoda Octavia 1.9 Tdi. My main focus is on High Performance, Pick-up, Comfort, Power, Fun to drive, low cost of ownership. Also which car of these has highest Top Speed. Also mention what r the Max speed figures which these car can achieve.
