Intel launches six new Quad-Core Xeon 7300 series processors
World’s largest microprocessor maker Intel has now launched a new range of quad-core processors.
The timing is perfect as AMD is also scheduled to launch their Barcelona range of quad core processors.
Intel announced six new Quad-Core Xeon 7300 series processors.
The company claims that these new processors can deliver more than twice the performance and more than three times the performance per watt over its previous-generation dual-core products.
Intel added that Dell, HP, IBM and Unisys are some of the PC makers who are soon going to announce products powered by these new processors.
