Gigabyte UMPC-U60 launched in India
Gigabyte has launched their UMPC-U60 Ultra Mobile Personal Computer in the Indian market.
This touch screen portable machine can be used by the users to stay connected to the internet on the move and can be used for everything ranging from emailing to instant messaging.
It weighs just 740 g and comes loaded with an exact hand-sized body with a 6.5-inch LCD and sliding QWERTY keyboard.
Users can also get the optional satellite navigation module which works as an automobile navigation system.
Shekhar Kulkarni, vice president (Sales) of Gigabyte had this to say on this new product launch: “UMPC is a new category of mobile computing devices that support increasingly mobile lifestyles. We believe that UMPC will eventually become as indispensable and ubiquitous as mobile phones are today. UMPC are a great choice for all those situations when you’re on the go, but need to keep informed, entertained, and connected via the full functionality of a Windows PC.”
