iPhoneSIMfree: Apple iPhone unlock now on sale
Customers wanting to purchase the Apple iPhone but were delaying their decision considering they would have to move to AT&T might now have a way out.
iPhoneSIMfree has announced that they are now selling their unlock solution for the Apple iPhone through several resellers.
The unlock solution is being sold for a premium price of USD 99 and is being sold in four countries.
The Apple iPhone is unlocked using this solution through Wi-Fi connectivity.
However, there is still no guarantee that the unlock would be permanent as Apple does have the power to override it with a possible future software update.
Considering the potential the iPhone unlock market has, it is unlikely that Apple can find a permanent way to keep these solutions out. It is expected to become a rat race if Apple chooses to keep updating their firmwares to block these third party solutions.
