Apple iPhone: 1 million units sold in 74 days!

Apple has managed to sell more than 1 million units of their recently launched Apple iPhone within 74 days of launch.

This is quite impressive considering the iPhone is the first mobile phone to be launched by Apple which is primarily a computer company.

The company has been facing a lot of criticism from the investors since they announced a major price cut on the iPhone.

Apple stock took a beating at the market eating up a good deal of money from their worth. Analysts said that the price cut was perhaps because the company was not selling as many iPhones as they had expected.

Steve Jobs had initially expected to sell 1 million iPhones before the end of September. He has achieved that goal.

Apple has not clarified if the recently announced price cut helped them improve the sales of the iPhone in the market.
