Honda City updated. Now starts at Rs 6.8 lakh.
Honda Siel Cars India as expected has launched the updated variant of their Honda City sedan in the Indian market.
The company with this update hopes to challenge the dominating players in the segment Maruti SX4 and Mahindra Renault Logan.
Honda said that the car has been updated with new safety features and would now cost between Rs 6.80 lakh and Rs 8.65 lakh (ex-showroom) Delhi.
It still remains expensive compared to the rival products. Honda however knows the brand value they have in the Indian market.
The newly updated Honda City comes with features like anti-lock brake system (ABS), dual SRS air bags, fine leather upholstery and new steering wheel.
Honda is now planning to launch a brand new vehicle next year to replace the aging City in India.
