Adam Bosworth leaves Google to pursue other interests
Search engine giant Google has confirmed that Adam Bosworth has left the company to pursue other interests.
He was a leading software developer at the company and was in charge of their still under development Google Health project.
Google Inc spokesman Steve Landon had this to say on this latest departure from the company: “Adam is a great talent and was instrumental in starting Google Health. He is now on vacation and has decided to pursue other opportunities after that.”
The Google Health project would now be headed by Marissa Mayer who is also the head of Google’s core search products business.
He is the second major executive to leave the company in recent days. Their Chief Financial Officer George Reyes has already announced his decision to retire by the end of 2007.
