Sprint Nextel announces mobile shopping service for their customers
Sprint Nextel has announced that they are now launching a mobile shopping service for their customers.
The company said that their customers would be able to shop for everything from shoes to televisions on this new service.
This new mobile store would offer about 7 million products from 30 online retailers. The retailing stores being featured here includes Wal-Mart Stores Inc, Target Corp bluefly.com and shoes.com.
Spring Nextel said that they worked on this mobile shopping service in collaboration with mShopper.com. The company further claims that this is the first service being offered on the mobile platform in the US market.
Sprint product manager Charnsin Tulyasathien added in a statement: “The big opportunity for Sprint is the potential increase of data usage.”
