2008: A big year for Tata Motors
Tata Motors is aiming to have an amazing year next year with lots of new launches planned. The main launch would of their Rs. 1 lakh car which is expected to be showcased at the upcoming Auto Expo show.
The company would also be releasing a new generation of their current vehicles. They are also scheduled to showcase its next-generation global pick-up truck, Xenon at the Auto Expo.
New platforms for their Indica, Indigo and Sumo models would be launched in 2008.
They are also going to launch some new luxury buses in collaboration with Brazilian Marco Polo.
Tata Winger would also be introduced in the market which is their new luxury light commercial vehicle.
They would be launching Fiat’s Linea sedan and Grande Punto premium hatchback models in the Indian market.
The company is also expected to update the diesel engines in their Indica hatchback by powering it with the same engine which powers the Suzuki Swift Diesel in the Indian market.
