Flux social network launched by Viacom
Viacom’s MTV Networks has launched their latest online initiative named Flux. It is technically a social networking community designed to provide access to a broader array of entertainment content to the members.
This new project has been powered with the technology provided by Social Project. MTV Networks holds a minor stake in this company.
MySpace and Facebook are currently the two most popular social networks on the web. The market is crowded with tons of other smaller players.
Social Project team stated in a blog post: “TagWorld was a traditional social network with lots of innovative features, but we realized that waging a feature war against walled garden social networks wasn’t where we should be focusing our efforts.”
