eMusic to now offer audiobooks for download
DRM free digital media download service eMusic has announced that they are now going to offer audiobooks for download.
These downloads are coming to the service starting tomorrow and would add to the offerings from this popular online store.
The company claims that they would start by making available more than a thousand audiobooks, with hundreds more to be added each week.
Customers would be able to sign up for monthly subscriptions priced at $9.99 for one book or $19.99 for two books. They would be offered an extra book free as an introductory offer.
eMusic is owned by Dimensional Associates and they claims to be the world’s second-largest digital music service after Apple’s iTunes.
They are mostly known for offering DRM free music on sale.
